Privacy policy

CamsAddict ("we") runs camsaddict.com and is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions and requests: [email protected].

This policy covers two groups of people: visitors to the Site, and the performers whose broadcasting activity the Site tracks.

Visitors

• No account, no analytics, no advertising or tracking cookies. We do not build profiles of visitors.
• Age confirmation: when you confirm you are 18 or older, your browser remembers it in local storage on your device. It is never sent to us.
• Technical logs: to deliver pages and protect the Site from abuse, our servers and our network provider Cloudflare process your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to tell people from bots. Logs are kept only for a limited period, for security and troubleshooting.
• Room links: when you follow a link to a cam room it passes through our own redirect to the network. We do not record who clicked. The network may set its own cookies to credit the referral, under its own privacy policy.
• Email: if you write to us, we use your address and message only to deal with your request.

Performers

Source: the public "online rooms" feed each cam network publishes for its affiliates. You appear in it only while you are broadcasting and only if your network settings allow it (on Chaturbate, "Appear on network sites").

What we store: network and username, display name, gender, age or birthday, country, location and languages as shown on your profile, tags, room subject, follower and viewer counts, the address of your thumbnail (never the image), and the times you are online.

Why: to publish statistics about public broadcasting activity, based on our legitimate interest in running a statistics service and fans' interest in knowing when performers broadcast (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). The information is information you made public on the network.

What we show: statistics at any time; your thumbnail and tags only while you are live. Room subjects are never shown.

Retention: broadcast history is kept for up to 13 months and older history is deleted.

Your choice: you can object at any time through the opt-out page. Your page is removed, your history is deleted and your account is blocked from further recording.

Where data is processed

Our servers are in the European Union (the Netherlands). Cloudflare runs a global network, so requests may be processed outside the EU under its standard data protection safeguards.

We do not sell personal data or share it with anyone except the service providers needed to run the Site.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy of it. Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Changes

We will update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
